Fundraising - Planning or Donor Matching 

Advisory Support and/or Consultations

Support to help you find the right donors for your fundraising needs. We work together to identify your most important criteria and funding needs over the short to medium term. I will then find the right donor for your upcoming needs. 

You then have the option of working directly with them on developing concept notes and proposals, or continuing our partnership so I can do this for you.

Concept Note Development

Advisory Support and/or Consultations

Working with your team to develop a concept note to share with your donors. This can be done independently, or alongside the Fundraising support above. 

This involves research and a literature review, and working with your team to develop a technical concept note that outlines your goals and outcomes, and makes a persuasive case for funding.

Proposal Development

Advisory Support and/or Consultations

Taking the concept note developed earlier - or another successful concept note you already submitted - and turning it into a full proposal. 

This includes writing and development support, providing consultation to your team. It does not involve technical writing or the creation of a project. 

The length and needs of this support vary depending on your donor, and whether or not you also need proposal annex documents.

Donor Relationship Management

Advisory Support and/or Consultations

Working with your team to manage your relationships with your donors - from joining team calls as your PMEL expert, to helping you draft messages and communications materials with them. 

I will help take your voice and your work, and translate that into 'donor speak' to help them to engage more deeply with your projects.

Project Design 

Advisory Support, Workshops, Exercises, and/or Consultations

Working with your team to design a project of work. This does not include technical support or writing. 

I will work with you to take your ideas and develop them into a project - with a timeline, goals, outcomes, activities, etc. We discuss it together to refine your vision into an actionable project of one to several years.

Programme Design

Working with your team to design a programme of work. This does not include technical support or writing. 

I will work with you to take your ideas and develop them into a programme, which could become your organisation's flagship areas of work - such as a women's rights programme. We will work to connect this with past and current projects, and develop specific visions of change.

Theory of Change

Advisory Support, Workshops, and/or Consultations

Working with your team to develop a Theory of Change - for your organisation, programme, or project. 

This could take the form of a series of workshops, consultations to update your existing Theory of Change, or advisory support to start working on one.

Logframes/ Results-Based Management

Advisory Support and/or Consultations

Support to either develop a logframe or another results-based management system, or manage your existing systems. 

I can review your existing frameworks and suggest ways to strengthen them in line with your organisational mission, vision, and values. We'll work together to update the frameworks in line with your most incredible achievements and projects. Management of the frameworks includes support to your programmatic or M&E staff to keep these frameworks updated.
